What is UPF50+ swimwear?
UPF50+ fabric blocks more than 98% of harmful UV rays, helping protect your skin while you enjoy time outdoors. Our sun safe swimwear is made from premium Italian fabric, tested & rated by ARPANSA (The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency who are the Australian Governments primary on radiation protection & nuclear safety). Our pieces are designed to provide excellent sun protection in and out of the water.
Why wear a rash guard?
Sunscreen is important, but it needs to be reapplied regularly and can wash off in the water. A rash guard provides consistent sun protection for your shoulders, arms and chest, helping reduce sun exposure while swimming or outdoors.
To achieve maximum protection, we recommend using a UPF50+ sunscreen in combination with our sun protection swimwear. Remember to limit your hours in the sun, use maximum protection methods such as seeking shade, wear a hat, sunscreen and sun protection clothing.
Is the fabric chlorine resistant?
Our luxury Italian fabric is chlorine ultra resistant and pilling resistant.
Is the fabric UPF50+?
Our fabric is tested and rated UPF50+ in Australia. We send our fabric to ARPANSA (Australia Radiation Protection & Nuclear Safety Agency) which is a regulatory agency for the Australian Government.
Can rash guards be worn in the water?
