Here's our top 5 favourite places to snorkel. Queensland is home to some of the most beautiful and remote snorkelling locations in the world. The most obvious is the Great Barrier Reef. So, let’s start with our number one, Lady Musgrave. Lady Musgrave Lagoon located at Lady Musgrave Island on the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Lady Musgrave is a 14 hectare coral cay with a 1,192 hectares of surrounding reef and is the second most southern island. It is located around 32 nautical miles from Seventeen Seventy.

WHY YOU NEED SUN PROTECTION IN WINTER!

Sunburnt in winter? Something you don’t often think about or talk about, until you get sunburnt in winter and it’s too late. Many associate summer and heat with sunburn but winter in many parts of Australia still have a high level of UV. In Queensland, the UV Index rarely goes below 3. The UV Index is rated from 1 to 15 which means at a level of 3 or above, the UV is enough to cause damage very quickly. Don’t forget, UV rays from the sun not heat causes sunburn.
